Our Mission

At Primary Cares, we believe that everyone should have access to healthcare, clean water and health education in order to live their best life possible.
Come with us to one of our amazing sites and see the real people, the real country, the real need. Receive hands on experience in providing medical care, cultural immersion and language instruction. Two week to eight week excursions are offered.

Preventative Medicine Program

Long-term goals include funding of four outreach teams per year to complete preventative medical screenings, implement medical treatment, provide health education, study wastewater management in peru girlsrural communities and provide continuing medical surveillance of health outcomes.
During a three-year implementation plan, we will follow our communities, chart health improvements, and publish our success and failure in order to provide evidence that direct intervention in difficult to access regions can make a monumental difference in a community's future.

We develop health and educational resources for rural populations based on region and culture- specific needs. Primary Cares will provide funding for medical screening and testing, educational resources, pharmacy development, necessary medical equipment, and local medical staffing.

Primary Cares works on collaborative programs to provide potable water and improved wastewater management to rural communities. We partner with US and locally based engineers and wastewater specialists to develop a cost-effective plan that will be sustainable. We screen communities for water borne diseases (bacterial as well as mosquito borne).

Primary Cares implements educational programs on disease prevention, treatment of disease, water and waste management as well as water filtration methods to our rural communities. Without clean water, community health is severely compromised. We establish preventative medical programs that will become self-sustaining in our communities with the collaboration of local medical teams, doctors, hospitals and government officials.

How you can help

We need more than dedicated volunteers to travel!  We accept medical supplies, medical equipment, goods for auction at our fundraisers, and individual monetary donations. We also need ground roots volunteers to raise awareness in their communities!

Join us for the experience of a lifetime!
